Romania appreciation post

I was tsuntsun for this bastard for a while because I'm so hooked on the idea of Romania being a girl, be he eventually won me over and I fell for him pretty hard. ngl though it took finding fanart of the design being drawn as a reverse trap for me to go for it.

Not amused that the other spot's going to Prussia, though. He already has 2 or 3 songs. His singing voice is shit. I hate his music's style. That spot should've been Austria's. I loved his MKC so much ;3;
Also, the non-Axis/Allies characters that got MKCs and HFPs really should get their own character CDs, too =<.
.....So tempted to buy the volume with Hungary's HFP, just to make sure I get an HQ rip =/. Fucking Hetalia comm and its refusal to rip things from their CDs.

HUNGARY PLAYING WITH A TAMAGOCHI. THIS IS SO OBSCENELY CUTE.

'Cause I looked through Toranoana last night and didn't find a single Kenshin/Kasuga book. I mean, I get that I'm a couple years late to the PARTY, and I get that Kenshin didn't pay much attention to Kasuga early on, but you'd think I could at least find one ;A; Towards the end of season 1 they were really sweet together ;;
...Also am I nuts for loving Nohime? Most people adore Oichi, and I do like her too, but Nohime is my favorite SenBasa lady after Kasuga and I feel like I'm probably insane for this.

So, someone on the maincomm was AWESOME and gave us a CD rip for Belarus and Ukraine's duet, Carrot and Stick. Everyone should go download it and then listen to it and listen to All The Things She Said by t.A.t.u either right before or right after. They're so similar and I love it, especially in the way they open. Also that first bit where they're talking? The music there is almost exactly the All The Things She Said music. SO PERFECT akdjsjs. Even if Prussia feels the need to talk at the beginning and be annoying.

This is probably going to be pretty incoherent because the con was a jumbled mess of me and the people I was with being utter imbeciles for a weekend. Also I do have pictures (though not many; there wasn't much I wanted to take pictures of and I was too busy goofing off a lot of the time). I'll post those in a separate entry, though. cloverbooks prompts yesterday. Yesterday was horrible for other reasons, anyway. Not in the mood to discuss that, though. So here's me rambling about good things instead!
Before I get on with thecloverbooks stuff for today, I need to spam about what just came in the mail today~!

What are some of your top OTPs in fandom? What attracted you to these pairings? Do you see any parallels/common traits between your OTPs? Why do you think this is?
Yay, an excuse to fangirl Austria/Hungary! Some of my other top pairings over time have been:
-Komui/Miranda (D. Gray-man)
-Tyki/Allen (D. Gray-man)
-Gwendal/Gunter (Kyo Kara Maoh)
-Mine/Kiyora (Nodame Cantabile)
-England/Japan (Hetalia)
-Rin/Saber (Fate/Stay Night)
For all of them, it was something about the way that they interact that struck me as really cute/hot/interesting/fun/whatever. The only exception is Komui/Miranda, since this is a pure crack pairing. They've never even spoken to each other in canon. With them, it's more about the way their personalities would mesh if they actually had the time to hang around with each other. I like all of these pairings for completely different reasons, though, and they're all pretty different. The only real common ground I can see between any two of them is with the two het pairings. Both Hungary and Kiyora are the dominant partners, despite being female. Really I like variety in my pairings, though.
None of the guy on guy pairings really have much in common. Tyki and Allen are enemies to the point that rape is the only way it could even work. Gwendal is a "tough guy" that secretly likes to knit stuffed animals and has a huge weakness for cute things, while Gunter is a flamboyant guy that tends to be loud and obnoxious and flails about far too often, yet the two are best friends and I like to think they sneak back to one of their bedchambers sometimes when no one else is looking. England fails at expressing his emotions and Japan is reserved to the point of seeming emotionless. Yet, they're both lonely deep down, and they like each other quite well.
I only have one yuri pairing listed because I only pretty recently started to actively ship yuri.
