Do I ever learn? {Winter 2011 Animu Season}

Okay, so my history of attempting to watch current season anime as it comes out dates back to spring 2009. I've...never been successful, up until this past season with Panty and Stocking. Besides that, the closest I've gotten is K-ON!, which I didn't finish until mid-July. But succeeding with Panty and Stocking seems to have made me get cocky. Because I'm taking on two shows this season. inb4 I drop them both to be picked up...someday because I get distracted.

The shows I picked up were Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Gosick.

I really, really like this so far. Katie insisted I watch it, so I did a couple days ago. I wasn't paying attention to the winter season aside from drooling over Gosick's setting, so I didn't know what to expect. Looks like we've got a darker magical girl show with a generous side serving of lesbians on our hands, folks. idk about you, but that means I'm in.

The artwork and ofc the setting were gorgeous, but other than that I'm not sure what to think yet. This episode was all over the place and I'm not really sure where it's going. I felt like things were pretty poorly explained, too, especially regarding the fortune teller. Hopefully it'll get better, though. I want to like it.
