Happy Anniversary, Austria and Hungary

In honor of the anniversary of the crowning of Emperor Franz Josef and thus of Austria and Hungary's wedding, I decided to be an utter dork and do a cute photoshoot with my Austria and Hungary plushies. I had way too much fun with this.









A romantic dinner date by the lake? Sure why not. Though what's for dinner? There doesn't seem to be any food...Yes my mind is in the gutter and yours are all welcome to join.







Austria, I assume the enormous crowns to match enormous egos were your bright idea? Oh well these are really cute.



Can't wait for the ceremonies and official things to be over so you guys can go someplace more private, huh?

I really like how this one turned out. I think we all know where this is going...







Yeah I did kinda take all of these with people around that were probably wondering wtf is wrong with me. This was a productive usage of a roll of film! All the props were found on a random trip to Hobby Lobby, and I had way too much fun messing with those ribbons.

Glad I could start your day off right, then~! Happy birthday, btw! That's a pretty neat date to have a birthday on, I must say, though it'd kinda suck a bit if you didn't like the pairing. It's still cool to have a birthday on a historic date regardless, though! I think mine's pretty cool, too; it's the same day that the first Garfield comic strip was published.

Ah, a seller on the maincomm had them for a while. She's come back to America since then and isn't really selling stuff anymore, though. idk if there's any place else to get them; they're sold out on the Animate store at least for now. There was also Prussia, HRE, Chibitalia, and Liechtenstein, as well as the typical Italy, Germany, Japan, England, France, America, and Romano (for some reason they never made Russia and China ;;). They may still be floating around Y!JA and ebay, though. Just as a warning, they're pretty pricey. /kind of sort of spent over $100 on these two and a Prussia for a friend after shipping.

Well maybe the fandom gods will smile on me when I go to anime expo next month. And no, I can't blame hungary for wanting to be all over austria. who WOULDN'T. XD

Nope! They're official. ♥ And yeah, it doesn't make sense that Russia didn't get a plushie! I'm not a huge Russia fan, so I probably wouldn't have bought it (hell, I didn't even shell out the cash for Germany, and he's easily my favorite of the main 8), but come on, guys, Russia is PERFECT for a plushie! He's just so huggable and moe! At least character design-wise.
Maybe you'll find some of the ones that did get made at AX, though! I'd assume you would. I saw some of the Axis/Allies ones at Acen, along with tons of other goodies.

Seriously. Austria is damn sexy. I can't blame him for wanting to be all over Hungary, either, though. She's also smokin' hot ♥

That's super cute anyway. I too don't get why they didn't turn every character of the main 8 into plushies before doing other countries, as they did with the other items. It doesn't make sense...

I kind of have a bad track record when it comes to what I do with plushies orz. I have a photo from a while back of my Gwendal and Gunter plushies (Kyo Kara Maoh, if you're not aware of the fandom) that's equally ridiculous as far as being plushie porn.

Yeah, it's weird. I'm not complaining too much though, since I did get Austria and Hungary plushies out of it, and they don't get much merchandise. Really I just wish they'd try to branch out a bit and give some countries merchandise that don't typically get it. But yeah, excluding Russia and China from the plushies is still weird and not cool ;;.

It's more than a bit late, of course. Real life doesn't seem to want to let me work on hobbyish things. >_>
I think I will try and finish stuff up to post though. You're right, it really doesn't matter what time it is when I post it. After all, this *points up* would be great at any time too!

Yeah, I do pretty well with outdoor lighting. I need to learn how to deal with indoor lighting better, though. It doesn't help that my house is so cluttered that there's always some ugly thing ruining an otherwise nice picture, though.
